Financial Support
is essential to the success of the chapter. The cost to fly each veteran to
Washington, DC and back plus ground transportation and other costs is $500.
The cost for a 55 person (vets, guardian and support staff) flight from the Orlando airport is approx $25,000. Honor Flight
chapters get no federal or state support; all funding is from donations.
All donations are being handled by the local American Legion post (Veterans
Memorial Post 347).
All donations are
tax deductible.
