Villages Honor Flight's seventh flight taking WWII vets to DC to see the WWII
Memorial and other historic sites.
25 vets and 25 guardians will depart American
Legion Post 347 early in the AM on their way to Orlando Airport and then
to DC. In DC they will visit the the WWII, Korean War and Viet Nam
Memorials on the DC Mall, the USMC Memorial (aka the Iwo Jima
Memorial) and Arlington National Cemetery (where they will view the
Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns)

Vets and Guardians will assemble
at the American Legion Post 347 (Route 466 and Rolling Acres Road)
about 2:30 AM 25-May-2013; formal activities start about 3AM; the bus departs for the airport
about 3:45 AM

The bus will arrive back at the
American Legion Post 347 (Route 466 and Rolling Acres Road) about
10:30 PM on 25-May-2013. Home coming activities will start
about 10PM
Mark your calendar and be there
to welcome home our vets. They have been waiting 65 years for
a proper home coming; let's give it to them -- they certainly
deserve it
